Im trying to remember what i did for A2 biology coursework. Im sure our teacher gave us advice on what to do. or maybe even told us what to do. Has yours not?
I think in one year (AS or A2) i did yeast fermentation. Variable temp, glucose and all that. That maybe too simple for A2.
Whats everyone else doing?
Have you tried looking for A2 level biology coursework on google? I know that brings up loads of info. Dont copy the essays, tho.

Our coursework was on microbes and disease. We had E. coli and S.albus and grew them in a bacterial lawn. Then we placed on discs of penicillin and streptomycin and compared the effect with statstical tests etc.
Does tht help?

Ps. Our teacher gave us help, have you been given an aim or anything?

Just out of curiosity, what is A2 Biology Coursework? I live in America and we don't have that. Very interested in what it is though :)

You know the 16-18 education? its called AS for the 1st year and A2 for the second year.
Do you have coursework in America? I don't wanna sound patronising! It's like a REALLY long essy with an experiment in it! :)
That help? :P

No, we don't have anything like that...and I wish we did! I went to three different high schools during my 16-18 years, and none of them did that...at least not as part of any cirriculum. It sounds like a task every science student should have to do though.

It would be really great if I had that kind a thing in Romania... The only experiment I ever mde was putting algae in a glass a water and counting the bubles...

Just because there's an experiment doesn't mean it's gonna be interesting!
Loads of the expeiments i did were to do with how well an enzye catalyses a reaction, which meant cutting up loads of liver :? Considering i'm vegetarian i didn't really appreciate it!

those A2 courseworks don't exist here in my country. but we do have research and science fair projects though. most of the studies i did were technology-oriented so im not much of any help. neway, here's a site about A2 biology courseworks http://www.courseworkbank.co.uk/AS__A2_ ... l/Biology/

Im doing my AS at the moment, boring!

Got to see what temperature denatures the cell membrane of beetroot, causing it to relise red pigment. (anthocyanin)
