our doctor who teach us phsiology ask us a question about respiration and i dont know the answear :oops: hope someone do :wink:
why o2 present in blood in two forms only while co2 present in four froms ?

CO2 is toxic for the body, so any CO2 must be excreted. Besides that, The idfferent forms of CO2 have other functions (pH-regulation)

O2 a free radical? And i wasn't notified? :lol:
Superoxide is a free radical.
In photosynthesis singletic oxygen can form that attacs double bonds, and especially lipids..
But the O2 you breathe is NOT a free radical... If it were, we would all be dead

Sorry, forms of oxygen like superoxide are free radicals, thanks for the heads up
