epps?
Hi, I'm a neurobiology student trying to understand end-plate potentials. I'm trying to solve a problem that asks about how the EPP would change in different circumstances. I understand that if you add an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, you would get a bigger, longer EPP. But what if you add just acetylcholine? I found two conflicting source, where one says the EPP would increase and one says it would stay the same. I'm not sure the reasoning behind it in any case.
I wonder if you guys can help me out...thanks!

Is an end plate potential a potential that takes place on a motor fiber when stimulated by Acetylcholine? I am having a translation problem. If it is so, then yes, adding extra acetylcholine will produce an extended muscle contraction

Hi, I'm sorry for not defining it better. Your definition was right and thanks for responding to my question. Do you, or does anyone know, what the relationship between the epp and the membrane capacitance is?
I have this awful problem set and I can't find the answers anywhere!
Thanks anyone who can help!
