question on determining heterozygous/homozygous animal

Post by jiyuu » Sun Mar 05, 2006 8:24 pm

In cattle, polled (P) is dominant over horned (p). Describe the procedure for determining whether a polled animal is homozygous or heterozygous.

Any help would be appreciated!

Try getting a definition of the terms. We have a dictionary.

I understand what the terms mean, I'm just confused on how to go about answering the questions.
