lab on Classification

ok guys and girls i really do not get classification and we got a lab on it and my teacher says the purpose of this lab is to find the deficiency of objects what does that mean?

it means that if there is an organism that is not already to classified. we use the lab for identify it. hey, i'm ask my senior about this, then i get this. i hope i get what he want to say to me.
