How do integral proteins differ from peripheral proteins?

All text book about biology explain the point you are asking about.

Integral proteins are hidrophilic in both of their edges --one which is exposed to intracellular and one exposed to extracellular environment. But the part located between two lipid bilayer is hidrophobic.
