Double digestion question

Post by Sepals » Tue Feb 14, 2006 11:38 am

Hi does any1 please know of any sources that explains the double digestion of the plasmid pUC19 and lambda using the restriction enzymes EcoRI and BamHI. I'm looking for info specific to these and haven't found it yet despite searching non stop in books and on the web. Thx.

Huuuh?
You cut your DNA with 2 enzymes. What else? Both sequences qre published, you can see where the enzyme cut and calculate the size of the fragments.

This is PUC19, look at the restriction sites to see what happens after double digestion.

As for Lambda you may look here

Thx for your help. I've gotten the info since. I was actually looking for something different but I don't need it now. :)
