It doesn't have hooves, but it is found in the wild in Africa, although very few are left in the wild. It occasionally climbs trees although trees are not its main habitat, and sometimes it eats insects, but they are not a staple of its diet.
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Is Africa the only place it is found in the wild?
Is it a primate of any kind?
Does this species belong to order Xenarthra?
Is it in order Carnivora?
Does it have a tail longer than 4 inches?

Man in civilization surveys the creature through the glass of his knowledge and sees thereby a feather magnified and the whole image in distortion. - Henry Benson

All of these are very, very close, but not quite. Let me recap some of the characteristics before someone gets mad at me:
It is an omnivorous primate that will eat just about anything. It has no tail. Very few remain in the wild (defined as anything outside civilization), and it distribution is worldwide.
Maybe that review will help. If not, keep trying and you're sure to get it.
