Non coated vescicles

Post by fluciano » Thu Sep 08, 2016 10:36 am

Hello everybody.

I'm studying vescicular transport in eukaryotic cells and it seems like in vescicular pathways every vescicle buds as a coated vescicle and then loses its proteic coating.

My question is: is there some vescicular pathway or any other circumstance when a vescicle can form without being coated? Or coating is essential for proper vescicle budding and transport?
