[URGENT] Unknown Bacteria

Post by Marq20 » Mon Aug 08, 2016 11:55 pm

So I have my unknown bacteria I really need some help with this, my grade really depends on it. I have narrowed it down to two possible bacterias. (Bacillus Cereus and Bacillus Subtilis)
I have done these tests and know this about my bacteria:
Gram positive
Sporulating
Oxidase positive
DNase negative
Rods
Alkaline positive
Lactose, Sucrose and Glucose all had fermentation with an acidic end product
The bacteria in the Petri dish was creamy and large
The TSA slants I did of my unknown turned a pink/peach color in a time frame of a week

Any guesses out there?
I also attached two pictures I took of the microscope slide I made for a gram stain of my unknown. It's not that clear but just in case it might help.
