ATP Matters

Post by pankaaj » Sat Jan 21, 2006 2:32 pm

Why nature has chosen ATP instead of other things?

That question can never be answered. We can make a list of the advantages it has on other substances, but it is possible that if evolution started again that ATP will not be used by nature

Search the forum. We went through the question Why ATP <-> ADP and not ADP <->AMP?
Why not GTP? Or CTP? Or UTP? Or TTP?(joking on the last one, there is no such thing as TTP...)
