Is it really true that ligers are sterile, like mules? i have no idea.... :?

Nope, I've read some links and it's said that Ligers are fertile and can have decendants..

ligers are fertile!!! i wonder wat biologists will come up with next...........cogs(cat+dog), hagles(hawk+eagle)!
