Mycobacterium vaccae

Post by Popinjay » Sun Nov 09, 2014 5:03 am

How would I go about isolating mycobacterium vaccae or getting my hands on some.

It is my understanding that this is a common bacteria in soil that can have beneficial effects in terms of anxiety, depression, and other general health effects.

This isn't sold anywhere as a probiotic, but I would like to get some without just adding dirt to my diet and hoping I get mycobacterium vaccae along with who knows what else.

If anybody could help me either by telling me how to isolate this myself or by doing so and allowing me to purchase it I would appreciate it. As far as I know it is harmless, common in soil, and so I am not asking for anything illegal. At least I hope not.
