1. Give the functions of three principal plant organs.
2. What part of a root is primarily concerned with absorption?
3. In what way is a cross section of a tree trunk a record of climatic conditions?
4. Trace the course of water from root hairs through the leaves of a tree into the atmosphere.
5. What factors seem to account for the rise of water in tall trees?
6. In what different ways are leaves fitted to get rid of excess water?

Interest is a source of learning, all this questions can not be replied in a few words, textbook such as 'plant biology' or 'plant physiology' can be helpful , in addition, all these imformation are available online:
