What advantage(s) is (are) there to dissecting a fetal pig rather than other mammals? Why are pigs similar in anatomical structure to humans?

You can dissect a rabit, your pet hamster, the neighbour's cat, a golden eagle(DON'T do that!) if you want to but a pig foetus is just more easy to aquire and cheap.

As for the anatomy question, they evolved in simliar conditions...
