mouse egg cell and mouse somatic cell

What is the difference in the number of chromosomes between a mouse egg cell and a mouse somatic cell??

a mouse egg cell would have half the number of chromosomes as the somatic cell because the egg cell is a gamete which is haploid

Doesn't egg cell mean zygote? If you are referring to zygote, then they have the same chromosome number

as much as I know, egg is not used reffering to zygote. so it is haploid.
