cellular sequences

Post by MrMistery » Tue Nov 29, 2005 7:45 pm

This is from the test i had last year at the national lot at cell biology. Most of them i have ABSOLUTELY no idea about:

What type of signal sequences do the following proteins need to contain in their structure to reach their final destination:
-clatrin - Just a guess, mannose-6-phosphate
-LDL receptor - Don't even know what it stands for
-M6P receptor - A guess, DXE(diaciding sequence- ASP-X-Glu)
-SRP receptor - KDEL sequence i think
-MDR pump(you might know it as ABC transporter) - some sequence for plasma membrane, have no idea what
-Hidrogen pump from lysosoms -No idea

Please help me!!
