please if you could answer any of these questions, i would appreciate it a lot.

1. What protist has not been successfully cultivated in the laboratory?

2. Name an organism that has both plant and animal characteristics.

3. What compound is usually identified by the use of iodine?

4. What important gas is released during photosynthesis?

5. Contrast photosynthesis and respiration.

6. Is movement characteristic of plant or animal cells? Explain.

7. Molecules are the smallest possible particles of any compound. Are water molecules more active in gas, in liquid or in a solid state?

8. Under what circumstances does osmotic pressure occur?

9. Why do dried prunes swell when soaked in pure water?

We are not here to do your homework. We can just help you. Here are the subjects for you to STUDY:

Protists
The Cell (animal and plant)
Indicators of some substances (here is a hint for you for this question: Iodine is the indicator of starch.)
Photosynthesis and Respiration (briefly)
States of matter
Passive transport (especially osmosis)

Hope this helps. :)

oh, come on! Some of these questions are extremely easy ones. If you are a beginner in biology, they meight not seem easy, but they are. Look into your textbook. Search google.com

So let's make another thing. Write us your ideas about the answers. Then we can discuss together. Is it OK? Because in that way, it will be more educating. If we give the answers to you, you probably won't be able to get the point, for example I would say just one word "Osmosis" to some of your questions.
I hope it is clear now. :)
So, we are waiting for your ideas.

Seems like you have an odd mix of quesitons, like some are college level and others are easy high school level questions.

8-10, research Osmosis
7. Heat is a form of energy
6. Which has more motory organelles (cilia, etc.)
5. Come on.
4. What gas relationship is kept between animals and plants?
3. Don't know
2. Not exactly sure, I'm thinking a certain bacteria though.
1. Not sure

Well in fact the question is probably one of the worst that I have ever seen considering that most bacteria in the biosphere cannot be cultivated in the laboratory. In a few gram of soil you find more than 30 000 different bacterial species, among which you will be able to grow about 10 if you are lucky. We know taht thanks to 16S RNA sequencing.
