Gene ontology mapping - folding, sorting and degradation?

Post by Young » Wed Aug 21, 2013 7:16 am

Hi

When you see "Folding, sorting and degradation" in gene ontology mapping, what kind of functions would you expect genes (or proteins) to have? My guess is below.

Homeostasis
Stress response
Cell cycle
Growth

Thanks!

(protein) homeostasis and processing

Cis or trans? That's what matters.
