I have a test next week and I don't understand this question.

Both plants and animals use the biochemical pathways of ____________ to break down carbohydrates formed during photosynthesis.

Plz, help me with that question.

Dodgy question putting animals and photosynthesis in the same sentence.

Enzymes/protiens would be my guess

why? carbs are formed in photosynthesis. Even if the plant uses them or you use them, that is still where they are formed

It probably is now that i think about it, i think its the word pathways that throws you, it should really be process.

I'd choose catalysts as the word pathway is associated with them.
