An interesting question

Post by drfuture » Sat May 18, 2013 8:27 pm

Hey guys, there is an interesting questions i really wondered;

Researchers are finding the bacteria from hotsprings but when they realized the origin of this bacteria, it is actually living in ice media. How come it could be possible?

Best regards.

Actually there is ice-living bacteria found in hotsprings. When they have checked the bacterium they understand that its origin is not hotspings. However, its genes are adaptated for living in extreme ice media . There may be gene transfer ?
