Anaerobic respiration

can anyone tells me why our muscle cells undergoes anaerobic respiration when weare exercising??
How lactic acid is being produced and how it is being removed?

then how does our body get rid of lactic acid??

Removed from the muscles as soon as enough O2 comes. Lactic acid is converted into pyruvate for gluconeogenesis by liver (most part) or by muscle cells.
