Hello! My name is Andrew Schröder David, I'm originally from Trinidad (the caribbean) but I'm currently studying in the U.S.
Um...I'm a Biology major but I plan on specializing in Marine Biology when I go to grad school. I also do research with my professor in the field of Aquatic Ecology, Community Ecology and Resource Management. I'm obsessed with biology at the ecological perspective. :P

On a less serious note, I'm a huge fan of heavy metal and fantasy novels. :D
There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one from so simple a beginning.....The Origin of Species

..just hello for now..

Post by a white rabbit » Thu Dec 28, 2006 11:17 am

..and to assure you that i really am only here to pick your brains, use your learning and access to libraries in real time and generally enlist your help in a wee project i have in mind... 8)

..so, what am i ? english, 51, and now living 6N 125E*, a lonnnggg way from my familiar euro-ecosystem and one scared bunny about the ecosystem** i have in front of me..

..* that's Malita, Mindanao, Philippinas for the geographicaly challenged

..**read eco-disaster but shhh, quietly mm ?

..and the project ?

..part 1 ..note and identify all the existing flora fauna, and generally crawly, swimmy or flyingy thingies in the Malita to Demoloc valley, especially the boring grass types 'n' stuff..

..part 2,.. using local schools do a full eco-count, using simple I-Spy books created in part 1, and find a university to process this stuff, with helpful comments..

..part 3..the easy bit, build an equatorial rainforest at the head of the valley to act as a life-boat?-rest-room? for the small and boring bits that can't fly the enormous distances between the two existing but shrinking national parks..

..yes, you will be credited on the website that'l go with this, and in any books

..yes i am so incredibly serious it's a wonder my bum doesn't fall off..
...toodA irB moastly 'experimentin'...
