actually i know this is an often-asked question but r our hair & nails living or non-living :?:
if living, y doesnt it pain when they r cut :?:
if non-living , how do they grow :?:

Only the roots of hair and nails are living. The part that you cut is a protein and non-living

does it vary from person to person?
is that y for some hair grows very fast while for others it doesnt? :?: :?: :lol:

Hair is non living and is made from the protein keratin.

Also it's a myth that hair and nails grow after you die. What actually happens is your body dehydrates and skin tightens which makes it looks like they are growing.
