LF biologist w/ Masters to answer a few questions for paper

Post by Eric82 » Thu May 31, 2012 7:47 pm

I was hoping to find a biologist of some sort that has a Master's degree or higher to take part in this short "interview" for a paper I'm writing for school. replies don't need to be very long. would greatly appreciate it!

What exactly is your Major/Masters and are you satisfied with the degree you’ve chosen? If not, what do you wish you would have done differently?

What is your current job and please briefly describe what you do?

What do you like most about your job?

What other careers if any did you seriously consider before taking the one you’re in now? What made you chose
this career over the others?

Has science always been a passion of yours?

Did you find getting your degree to be more difficult than expected? How about getting a Masters degree?
In your experience (or from what you have heard during your time in school) is a degree in Biology easier to obtain than a degree in chemistry?

Any advice for someone pursuing a career in biology and isn’t quite sure what they want to do yet?

What views do you have on biological research as a career? Why did you, or didn’t you decide to get into research?

How important do you think getting a Masters degree would be to my success as a biologist?

*if you would rather email your responses to me that's fine. [email protected]
