OK to use disease name over virus name?

Post by Ayeshaa » Mon Apr 09, 2012 1:34 am

is it ok to use the name of the disease if the actual virus name is not known?

^ I'm guessing it is, but not sure.

I think the viruses are even often called with the disease name (say like flu virus, although this is of course just an example).
