The Evolution of Sex

Post by omereilam » Mon Feb 20, 2012 9:47 am

Hi all,

I need to give a layman lecture on The Evolution of Sex, detailing many interesting instances of sexual reproduction/behavior/determination from across the tree of life.
I was hoping that some of you can give me some references to nice examples that you're familiar with.

Many Thanks!

Try to put you hands on "Dr Tatiana's sex advice to all creation" and on Matt Ridley's " the red queen" and enjoy

any proof. (Ashley Montague)

There have been some interesting studies of Volvox as sort of a model organism for very early sexual processes - do a search.
