I dont fully understand the formation the DNA Helix ? What i know so far is that the nucleutides on side of the chain are bonded to each other by phosphodiester bonds and then they form hydrogen bonds with their complementary base on the other side of the nucleutide chain and that is how i think DNA is formed but something seems to be missing from my explanation it seems to simple and also why is the DNA molecule described as anti-parallel.
