2 questions about mitosis. Please Help?

Post by reyrey389 » Sun Oct 30, 2011 10:19 pm

1) Cytokinesis begins in
A) Prophase
B) Metaphase
C) Anaphase
D) Telophase

I think it's late anaphase not sure though

2) Which phase of mitosis is the longest?

Well, I remember my teacher saying it was metaphase, but textbook and other people on yahoo answers say its prophase, so i just didn't know who to go with?

1. Cytokinesis begins in telophase. As the nuclear envelope is forming, the cleavage furrow is forming as well.

2. Metaphase is the longest.

Cis or trans? That's what matters.
