What are the 4 organelles involved in this process ........?

Post by petlover48 » Wed Oct 26, 2011 5:34 pm

Hi! A white blood cell engulfs and destroys a bacterium in the bloodstream and uses its contents for energy. Name the 4 organelles involved in this process, describe the function of each and explain how the 4 organelles work together.
Even if I could just get the name of the 4 organelles, that would really help me out and I could probably take it from there.
Any comments/suggestions greatly appreciated. :D
Thanks,

I would guess the bacteria ends up in an endosome or lysosome. The energy is probably utilized in mitochondia.

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

Ok, does anyone know what the other 2 organelles might be?

I'm thinking food vacuole, lysosome, mitochondrion, and plasma membrane.
