Stimulus intensity?!!!

Post by chutneymon » Fri Oct 07, 2011 3:50 pm

How is stimulus intensity encoded in your (all-or-nothing) Action Potentials?
e.g. the strength of a handshake in a sensory neuron.

Thanks :)

if you cannot vary intensity, what other parameters of a connection do you think could be modified?
You can think about how colors are encoded by a computer...
