Definition of "surface area to volume ratio"

Post by Kavita » Tue Sep 06, 2005 10:56 am

Hi,

I need to know the EXACT definition of "surface area to volume ratio". I'll be really glad if someone can help. From my day-long search on the net, i've understood what it means, but i still require the definition. I'm not a science student.

Also, the shorter the definition, the better.

Thanks,
Kavita

What do you mean by exact? There are many acceptable ways of defining it. Use our forum search function.

Hi mithrilhack,

Thanks for your response. Now I know that there is more than one way of defining it.

However, I have been able to handle the situtation without the definition (exact or otherwise!).

Regards,
Kavita
