Taking a dump aka toilet time

Post by hurly » Mon Aug 29, 2005 4:27 pm

This is just a test to check if I'm normal or not.
Is it normal to take a dump 1-2 times a day...? I hope so, or else I'm beginning to wonder if I'm eating the wrong food... :(

I eat a lot of rice and chilli, could this be the answer?

It is perfectly normal.

It's sometimes more important to look at the type of stool rather than the frequency. If the stool is too soft, then it would stick to the colon and cause irritation. If it's too hard, it would damage the lining of the colon also. The key is to eat lots of fiber.

It is also a matter of how much you eat. If you eat 5 meals a day, you will go to bathroom more frequent that if you eat 2 meals a day
