Vectors for coexpressing 2 genes in mammalian cells

Post by calista013 » Thu Jun 02, 2011 11:01 pm

I need to coexpress two genes in a mammalian cell line. I have been told that vectors exist that can incorporate both genes into a single vector (making selection easier), but I can't seem to find any from companies that I trust.

Does anyone have experience with trying to do this and know vectors that work? Or, if there are not vectors that can incorporate 2 genes at once, do you know of 2 vectors that are complementary and can both be transfected/selected into the same cells?

Thanks for your help in advance!
