Is your book subpar?

Post by mith » Wed Aug 24, 2005 3:46 am

The following links to a website that claims to critically examine school text books from a scientific and objective viewpoint. A lot of very good info but sometimes I think they're just nitpcking. For example, one of the critics was unhappy that the authors of a bio book wrote that dinosaurs are extinct. The critic wanted students to know that birds are (descended from) dinosaurs.

Overall, still a very good teacher's resource.

Scientists are human too. Being not objective about things except science can be acceptable. ;)
