Hello.im doin an experiment based on the identification of lipids,cabohydrates and proteins. So,i wana ask if anybody know what is the barfoed reagents?And what is the usage of Acolein test? I hope someone can help me and I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

Barfoed's reagent is a solution containing cupric acetate in dilute acetic acid that is reduced when heated with monosaccharides, but not with disaccherides or oligosaccharides.
