can amiRNA silence the agrobacterium?

Post by chuan » Wed Nov 24, 2010 9:49 am

hello everyone,
can amiRNA fragment kill the agrobacterium cell? I run into this problem recently. after i electroporate my amiRNA vectors into Lba4404 and c58 strains, they all do not grow. but the naked vector transformation grows very vell. so i need some suggestions about this amiRNA transformation. thanks! :?:

I guess that depends on the target gene. If you silence some important regulation factor, why couldn't you kill the cells?

Cis or trans? That's what matters.
