Why is the orientation of the secretory granules arranged like they are surrounding the lumen of the stomach gland? What is its connection to the structure-function of the gland? Thanks!!! ^___^

Because the secretory granules carry digestive enzymes produced by the gland. They will secrete their contents by exocytosis into the stomach lumen and mixed with nutrients to digest it.
