Referee suggestion : The sequence of this gene from yeast should be compared with the sequences of the genes from other microoganisms (especially from other sources of yeast strains).
what can I do now? Help needed.thanks!

you're supposed to look into other microorganisms, whether they have that gene and align the sequences ;)
