Halted apoptosis in dead organism

Post by DeaconRazorblades » Fri May 14, 2010 5:39 pm

What would happen if apoptosis was halted in most cells and then the organism died?

what should happen? If the organism dies, then you have nothing to do...

The cells of the dead organism would eventually undergo necrosis. Even if apoptosis was not halted, most of the cells in a dead organism, especially a large one such as a human, would die via necrosis.
