concentration of isopropanol?

Post by sixpence » Sun Apr 11, 2010 7:33 pm

Why is the concentration of isopropanol never listed for any protocols? Is it just assumed to be 100%? I'm trying to do isopropanol precipitation.

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

You're salting out the proteins? I think not, because then you had to add larger volume and thus more dilute your sample. What is your protocol?
