Microsatellite mutation rate

Post by blueblackhusky » Tue Mar 30, 2010 6:10 am

Hello to everyone!

I was wondering if anyone around here could give me a hint on about how high the mutation rate in microsatellite regions is. I have an article that very vaguely states it is "relatively high". It would be pretty helpful to know even, for example, how much higher it is than the mutation rate of "normal" DNA.

Thank you!
Husky
