SNAIL CIRCULATORY

Post by MoneyWalker » Sun Jan 17, 2010 8:35 am

guys, i had a homework 'bout snail..
before that, i suggest that you open THIS, then open the circulatory..
(because that site is my reference)

snail has a posterior kidney, and it has 7 segment.
and now the question is::
how can that blood -the blood that contains O2 and CO2- is not mixed?
how to separate it?

and the other question, 'bout snail..
in my book, written there that snail circulation are open circulation..
but in my references, written there that snail has closed circulation, and it has an blood vessels.
How can i explain this to my teacher?
Which part that explain that the snail has a closed or open circulation?
please, help me :(
