Is this sentence correct? I want to discribe that I want pick up single colonies and culture them in 96-well PCR plate. Thank you!!! :( :) :D

Ninety-six colonies were carefully picked up, and suspended in 30 µl of media in the wells of a 96-well PCR plate.

you don't have to start new topic everytime

I think, it's quite clear, you've picked up 96 colonies, if you used 96-well plate ;)

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

If you leave the 'ninty-six' in the beginning, I think, it could be quite fine ;)
