I like your quote, it seems everyone is always focused on the phrase survival of the fittest...what if that's not true. What if the things that are most often passed are the mechanisms that are most modular and robust?

Well...i guess we'll figure it out. In a couple hundreds or thousands years, though. Or maybe sooner. Who knows?

actually systems biology will show how networks of sensors, transducers, controllers and actuators are conserved
