Biology Lab report Advice.....HELP

Post by littlebittygirl » Thu Oct 22, 2009 7:22 pm

I am doing a biology lab report and this is what my biology teacher e-mailed me to do.

The dissections are the laboratory simulations of animal dissections. The idea is that generally, the organisms you are examining are progressing from "more primitive" to "more advanced" as you go along, and that those evolutionary advances can be noted, in part, by the evolution of those organisms' digestive systems from primitive to advance. This exercise is asking you to do a comparison of the characteristics of the various digestive systems you have examined during those dissections, with a particular emphasis on the evolutionary progress of these organisms.

I do know he is talking the animals that I dissected from the animal kingdom which are: clams, starfish, crawfish, perch, and fetal pig

can someone give me an example of how he wants me to do this.(Please don use the above animals; that for me to do)
any animal would do;I just need a start.

thank you.
Thank you.

I think he is asking you to observe different digestive system characteristics of each of the organisms you have studied, starting from the most primitive digestive system up until the more complex digestive system? Sorry if this doesn't help you at all, but from what you said in your question, that's all I can think of message me if you want me to elaborate.

Cheers.
