General Biology Question Concerning Cladograms

Post by KatieJ » Sun Oct 18, 2009 8:29 am

I'm currently working on my last biology assignment for the year, based upon classification and evolution. As part of this, we need to present a cladogram. This is where I ask for help for two tricky organisms : flying fish and tuna. These two need to be able to be split by a characterestic. Also, the succeeding animals are the puffin, turtle, chameleon and finally, the koala.

If you require further information, just ask. I hope someone is able to help!

Thankyou very, very much!!! :D

First of all, which flying fish?

Second, look in what taxons they are, what are the differences between these taxons? Why are these taxons splittted?

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

OK, it seems, that the lowest common taxon is superorder Teleostei

Now just find the differences between both orders ;)
