Mitosis at an embryogenesisWhether there is a crossing-over?

Post by lena4417 » Thu Oct 01, 2009 8:21 am

Whether there are results of researches, what in an embryogenesis in a mitosis there is a crossing-over? I would like to know, whether there is a crossing-over in a mitosis (if the crossing-over exists in a mitosis in an embryogenesis) in the excitatory founder cells.

I ask to excuse me - I awfully write in English

I think, that crossing-over does not take place at mitosis at all, because there are not aligned the homology chromosomes ;)

Cis or trans? That's what matters.
