cell anatomy quick question

Post by jensaoir » Tue Sep 22, 2009 2:55 am

Hi: I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is possible or common for an animal cell to have both cilia and flagella. Thanks.

not that i know of. but if you think about it there's not much difference between cilia and flagella. they have the exact same structure, except flagella are longer and there's fewer of them/cell.
