A Work Questionto Biologists and other related Professionals

Post by TheInquirer » Sun Aug 16, 2009 2:13 am

Hello everyone.

I'm thinking of going into a biology course and would just like to ask some others who have done it for their opinions.

I'm really curious about what specialization you took (Human Biology, Molecular Biology, etc) and what kind of work you've ended up doing.

Any other information you wish to provide would be nothing short of useful.

Thanks

you should read into it and come back with specific questions

Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

You really won't be able to get a feel for your interests until you take a number of different courses and experience the variety of feels.

I enjoy Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics, and thus those are the fields I am going in to. However, I didn't realize that fully until I found that I didn't particularly enjoy my courses in environmental biology and evolutionary statistics, etc.
Experience: Cell Biology, Confocal Microscopy, Developmental Biology, Evolutionary Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Physiology
